Conroe is a city in Texas, it is the seat of the Montgomery County and a principal city in the Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land Metropolitan area. It is about 40 miles north of Houston.

Rotary Club of Conroe – The Rotary Club of Conroe was founded August 24, 1932. They focus on literacy through their “I Like Me” Books for all 1st graders in the Conroe High School feeder elementary schools, our sponsorship of Runyan Elementary Schools.

Heritage Museum of Montgomery County – The Heritage Museum of Montgomery County is housed in the Grogan-Cochran home. Grogan built this home in downtown Conroe. He and his family moved into it in 1924.
