SCORING:   For every A – 2 points; B – 4 points; C-3 points; D-1 point

9-17 points:  You tend to prefer a very simple color palette-maybe an accent of one color with neutrals, or a monochromatic scheme.  The risk is creating a space lacking interest.  The balance of a color should be very subtle.  Texture is a very important element in a room when a simple color palette is chosen.

17-24 points:  Your preference is a palette that’s soothing and quiet.  One or two accent colors with a dominant color as the base.  The risk is the need to take available light into consideration.  Colors can become to washed out or gray in a room with a lot of natural light.

24-32 points:  You like colors that are deep and rich.  They tend to absorb light making your space very protected and cozy.  You risk creating a color scheme that might look drab and uninteresting.  So you’ll need to work with multiple color combinations to support the depth of color.  Details in the room – through a variety of accessories are a must!

32-39 points:  Your colors are energetic.  Clear, intense and active.  You may find that you like to change accessories often to suit your fast pace.  You risk creating an imbalance of color, so be sure proportions used are correct for the room.  Try utilizing clean and simple lines to keep things from becoming too chaotic.
